Recent anti-social behaviour

Following a number of reports from residents and councillors regarding anti-social behaviour in and around the village, mainly involving quad bikes, trail bikes and ponies and traps, Kent Police have been carrying out additional foot and vehicular patrols around the village, including at Hextable Park.

The Parish Council is disappointed that following the recent decision to place signs in the park politely asking residents to keep their dogs on leads, the signs were subsequently removed.  Whilst we understand that not all residents are happy with the decisions we make, criminal and anti-social behaviour is not the answer.  We have recovered three of the signs, but the other two remain missing, and will be replaced in due course.

In the meantime, Kent Police may be continuing with the additional patrols in the village, and this matter has been reported to them.
