COVID-19 Update

Hextable Parish Council has been keeping an eye on the situation with regards to the COVID pandemic.  A few weeks back, members took the decision to postpone the planned motor show for the second year, due to the uncertainty of the situation regarding the lifting of restrictions under the government's roadmap.

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on 14th June, clearly this was the right decision to make, but it is a shame that we have been unable to put this event on.

The latest announcement will also mean that there will continue to be the same restrictions to the numbers of people that can use our facilities.  The parish office will continue to be closed, except at certain times by arrangement to assist residents, such as to provide additional waste sacks as needed.

We will of course continue to follow the advice, and will wait until the next announcement, ahead of the new proposed date for removing restrictions by 19th July.
